The theme of this packaging design is to create a product in collaboration with a famous artist. This product will go through 5 stages (Mood board, Technical Drawing, Fabrication, Rendering and Layout, and Print and Present).

Work Mode: Hybrid.

Software: Photoshop, Rhino, Blender, 3D Print.

Inspiration

I chose the product, which is a brush cleaning box, and was inspired by the Golden music covers of South Vietnam before 1975. Most specifically, from artist “Duy Liem” and other artists who contributed to the treasury of Golden music covers. This design brings convenience to artists and painting enthusiasts in efficiently storing and washing brushes. In addition, the lid also has an embossed image of the "Ben Thanh Market" symbol and part of the lyrics from the song "Saigon" by composer Y Van.
